Fallon grinned, "It won't be that long now."
Nathan sighed, "To you"
Fallon shook her head, "watch, it'll fly by so quickly"
"Sure" Nathan grumbled, "even though an hour feels like 3 days without you," he whispered.
Fallon frowned, "Occupy yourself Nathan, I won't always be there even when I get back"
Nathan nodded, "I know, but knowing you're like 2 days worth of traveling away isn't easy"
Fallon frowned more, "I'm sorry Nathan," she whispered.
"For what?"
"For running away... I never should have.. I wouldn't be here right now... well..... possibly. but you wouldn't be so whipped if I was," she chuckled, "because chances are we wouldn't have met.... I'm sorry I dragged you into all this" she whispered.
Nathan shook his head, "Fallon. Don't you ever be sorry that we met. That wasn't a mistake. It was the best thing"
Fallon shrugged, "if you say so" she looked up and saw her foster dad leaning against her doorway, a nearly empty beer bottle in his hand.
"Fallon" he said sternly once he say her realize his presence.
She sucked in a breath, "I gotta go I'll talk to you later Nathan"
"Fallon? What's wrong are you okay?" he questioned.
"Uh yeah... I just... gotta go do the dishes." she lied, "I-I love you, I'll call you tomorrow," she whispered and quickly hung up the phone before he could say anything else.
"But-" he began then heard the line go dead, "O...k....." he let out a breath and slid his phone back in his pocket.

Fallon quickly stood dropping the phone down to the ground "Y-yes" she stuttered,trembling.
"What were you doing" he questioned.
"I-I was talking t-to my f-friend.."
"Saying I love you?"
She nodded "Best friend if you want to be exact......" she blushed. Her eyes fell back on his beer bottle.
He chuckled, holding it up a little and tossing the liquid left in it from side to side, "Why stare?"
she shook her head "N-nothing!"
His chuckling smile fell, his face almost revealing anger. "Stop stuttering!" he suddenly yelled throwing the bottle at the wall right next to her, she flinched and slammed her eyes shut.
"I'm sorry!" she yelled back, "I do it when I'm nervous!"
He shoved her back against the wall and glared at her, "you're such a wimp!"
"I know!" she said, only agreeing not wanting to make him angrier.
He threw her down to the ground then lifted her back up by her hair, "you're disobedient, and unnatural, and a freak!" he shouted.
"I know I know!" she said trying to mask her pain.
he threw her back to the ground, Fallon laid there for a moment letting the tears escape, the tears of pain mixed with fear. then she felt a sharp pain in her side, only to realize it was his kicks in her stomach. "Unintelligent! Worthless! Pathetic!" he continued.
Fallon cried, "I know!!" she took the pain and the words, knowing how this would end. Her needing a lot of make up to cover all the bruises.
She laid there taking this, as she couldn't wait to go back home to Nathan.
But for now all she could do was think happy thoughts. All of Nathan.
