Late Night

Maya sighed, she had decided in order to bring in more money to the house and to be able to buy more things for the baby, so Ariel didn't have to buy it all, she would go back to work. She leaned against the counter and looked at the clock, "fuck" she mumbled to herself. she had quite a few hours left.
It's not that she didn't like her job, she did, very much actually, it's just that this was the first time in almost a year that she had been without someone from her family or friends, let alone her baby. That's what made her sad. AND on top of that, tonight was a late shift.
Then the bell dinged as someone entered. "Can I help-" she started as she lifted her head. "Ew" she chuckled.
"WE'RE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE" Robbie shouted running in as Camrie and Fallon followed.
Maya looked at all of them "I don't need you in mi lifeee" she whined.
"You do if we buy things"
Maya rolled her eyes and looked at Fallon "AND what are you actually gonna buy you don't skateboard"
"Don't I. Don't I though." Fallon took a skateboard off a rack.
"no you don't"
"I might not skate as much as YOU but I DO skate"
Maya smirked "sure" Fallon's glare made her a little uncomfortable, "stoooop" she whined "I feel like you're staring deep into me soul and making your little invisible friends possess me"
"that makes me feel better" Fallon frowned
Camrie looked around, "I don't like this place. it scares me."
"Would you rather go to Hot Topic or Spencers?" Robbie smirked
Camrie squeaked "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NONONONONONO! NO!"
"Thought so"
"Can't take penis shaped lollipops Cams?" Fallon chuckled
"Shut up Fally Baby" Camrie smiled smugly
"Fuck off"
"SO BUY SOMETHING" Maya butted in
then the manager poked his head out from behind the door, "Robbie?" he came out
"Hey man" Robbie said and they fist pumped
"Ew more of Robbie's friends" Camrie cringed "Jeremy is enough"
"Topher's enough"
"FUCK OFF FALLON"
"TOO LAAAATE"
"oh my god. no. stop that"
Fallon shrugged and went back to looking at the skateboards on the racks.
"You coming back to work with Maya or what?" the manager asked Robbie
Robbie shook his head "nah, I have an internship at a local tattoo parlor now" he smiled
"Ah, that's real great man. hey if you ever wanna come back we could always use you alright?"
"Alright thanks" Robbie said as the manager went back to the room.
"Someone was a managers favorite" Fallon sang
"nah that was always Maya"
Maya nodded "I take pride in it"
the four of them looked up as the bell rang again and someone else entered, "well look who's here"
"WE ARE WE AREEEEE!!" Talia jumped around.
Aubree looked up from her phone and groaned, "YOU SAID WE WERE GOING TO THE MAAAAAAAALLLLLLL"
"I said close to the mall"
"THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE MALL DIPSHIT"
"AT LEAST you looked up from your phone for the first time since getting in the car! What an accomplishment!"
Fallon groaned, "I don't know if I can deal with Talia, Camrie and Aubree in the same room... they get fangirly" she made a face of disgust then looked behind Aubree and shoved her out of the way "BAMBIIIIIIIIIIII" she shouted pulling the small girl into a hug and spinning her around
"SHIP EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET" Camrie, Talia, and Aubree squealed in unison.
"SEE THIS IS WHY I CAN'T STAND TO BE IN A ROOM WITH ANY ONE OF YOU THREE FOR 10 MINUTES"
"we were in the car for a good 20 minutes" Robbie pointed out
"You know what Robert fuck off who's the one getting penis here"
"I believe that would be all of us in this room" Maya chuckled
Bambi and Bree blushed, "OH MY GOD WE'RE DONE HERE" Aubree threw her hands up.
"IT'S TRUE THOOOOOO" Camrie said
"CAMRIE YOU AND TOPHER HAVEN'T EVEN SEALED THE DEAL SHUT UP" Talia yelled
"WE'RE NOT EVEN ACTUALLY DATING DICKHEAD"
"YOU'RE SO SLOOOOOOOOOOOW"
"what's with the yelling?" the manager came out with his keys and coat
"sorry we'll be quieter" Maya said
"nah it's okay" he said tossing her the keys "I have an urgent family thing, lock up tonight"
She caught the keys and nodded "alright" and he ran out.
"K faggots get out I wanna go home"
They looked at her, "Maya don't cheat this time"
Maya groaned "fine.... but seriously buy something or get the fuck out"

Later that night Maya sat at the counter staring the clock down, her friends had left a few hours ago.
The clock finally hit 10 and she threw her jacket on and grabbed the keys from the counter running out and locking the door behind her. she got in her car and smiled, happy to get home.
She rode home thinking and thinking, she didn't like that she would be working late a lot just as much as her family, but she knew it was what was best for the baby.
Minutes later Maya parked in the driveway and flew out of the car and into the house. There wasn't one light on telling her everyone must've been in bed. She quietly walked upstairs eager to see her baby, she opened to door to Ariel's room and  saw a lump under the covers. she giggled to herself and walked over to Amaya's crib lightly kissing her forehead and smiling at her. Then she gently kissed Ariel's cheek and slowly got under the covers with him.
then she felt herself being tugged back. She flipped over to face Ariel and she saw him smile in the darkness, she smiled too and kissed his nose, "I'm sorry did I wake you?"
He shook his head "I didn't want to fall asleep until you got home"
Maya blushed, glad he couldn't see it in the dark, "oh"
he pulled her closer, "I don't like you getting home late" he pouted
"I don't either" she chuckled "It's for the baby Ariel"
he was only silent, "I love you Maya"
"I love you more" Maya snuggled closer to him as he put his arms around her. "I love you so much" she whispered "so much"
he kissed her forehead "nuuu I love you more"
Maya shook her head "Ariel that's physically impossible"
"oops"
Then there was a banging on the ceiling, "ALRIGHT WE GET IT YOU'RE SO IN LOVE YADA YADA NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP"
they looked at each other and back up to the ceiling, "...........Is Camrie sleeping in Robbie's room?" Ariel whispered
"Don't even want to know" Maya said. then she looked at Ariel again and whispered smiling "I love you"
"I love you too" he whispered back and they fell asleep in each others arms.
